OUTREACH

One of my most impassioned professional goals is to inspire art students, especially those who live in my hometown, Ridge Spring, SC. Since 2015, I have sponsored art competitions to encourage students in the art program at my alma mater, Ridge Spring Monetta High School, to create unique works that showcase their diverse talents. Eighty or more students have participated each year for grand prizes of a certificate and cash prize. All participating students are invited to the annual pizza party and to the Q & A session, where I share my experiences working as a graphic artist and designer in freelance, agency, and corporate settings.
